Dr. Wei Houreceived his PhD degree in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2005. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Florida. Dr. Hou’s methodological research involves the development of innovative statistical models and computational algorithms for unraveling the genetic architecture of complex traits and biological processes in humans and other organisms. Several research papers Dr. Hou has participated in have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Biostatistics, Statistics in Medicine, Journal of Theoretical Medicine, Genetical Research, and Genetics.
